Guidelines for deliverables not consisting in a report

Following email has been sent from the EC Office to the project coordinator (25.07.2003):
"In order to facilitate the follow-up of deliverables consisting in, e.g., Websites, software programs or special events (conferences, workshops,etc) as well as to comply with an administrative obligation, we kindly ask you to apply the following guidelines upon completion of such deliverables.

In any case a front sheet is required. For your convenience, I attach a model of cover page listing the various elements that should appear on the document submitted to the Commission. Besides the information of administrative nature, you should add a short (10-20 lines) abstract.

When the concerned deliverable is a special event such as a workshop, a meeting or a conference, an executive summary describing the objectives and outcomes of such event has to be provided along with the front sheet. You can choose (provided these proceedings do not constitute themselves a deliverable, mentioned as such in the technical annex) to annex the exhaustive reports/proceedings but, if not, make sure to indicate where these are located (archive, Website, etc).

In case of Websites or sub-Websites, databases or any other online publication/resource, please do not forget to explicitly mention the URL address on the front sheet, as well as any other relevant piece of information (a password, the name of the Webmaster, a specific procedure, etc), and to include a description of the website structure and its rationale, in case also a print-out of the main Website pages.

Lastly, but not less importantly, the deliverable front sheet has to be submitted on the delivery date planned in the technical annex and hence separately from the annual Progress Report, even if a section of the latter comprises the same information (the so-called "Deliverables summary sheets")"
